This is a notice to all Friends of Denver Parks supporters and fans:
The article in the Post yesterday, August 8th, titled, ” Denver Looks To Add City Park Land”, had erroneous information as to our position in the courts and petition process. Our attorney has been notified and will write both a retraction request to Jeremy Meyer as well as do a press release stating the Denver Post has been incorrect, and in essence, misinformed the Denver public.
Friends of Denver Parks would like everyone to know that both the petition and court processes are moving forward, that they are not in the past and we are presently seeking legal relief in the court and are still obtaining signatures for our petition effort. We thank you for your support.
