FDP Believes Article In Denver Post Erroneous
This is a notice to all Friends of Denver Parks supporters and fans:
The article in the Post yesterday, August 8th, titled, ” Denver Looks To Add City Park Land”, had erroneous information as to our position in the courts and petition process. Our attorney has been notified and will write both a retraction request to Jeremy Meyer as well as do a press release stating the Denver Post has been incorrect, and in essence, misinformed the Denver public.
Friends of Denver Parks would like everyone to know that both the petition and court processes are moving forward, that they are not in the past and we are presently seeking legal relief in the court and are still obtaining signatures for our petition effort. We thank you for your support.

July Musings, Friends of Denver Parks Blog by Renee Lewis
Good morning Friends of Denver Parks,
Today is July 21, and three weeks have gone by since we wrapped up our community petition drive and presented our signatures to the Elections Commission on July 1, 2013.
I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect upon the amazing adventure that we have embarked upon and revisit a few things that we have accomplished along the way.
As neighbors and the community at large became aware of the shell game orchestrated by Mayor Hancock involving Hampden Heights North Park, we began to see that by talking with our neighbors there was desire by the community to stop this travesty, as we could all see the larger ramifications of this project.

Vision for Denver
